13 Aug Tom Pernice Jr. Charity Golf Classic will benefit Redlands-based Unforgettables Foundation

August 1999 brought a letter to the home of Tim and Sonya Evans of Highland that has had an impact on thousands of families across Southern California in the 15 years since then. In the letter, the IRS permission to raise money with the privilege of tax-exempt status was extended to the newly formed grass-roots nonprofit group The Unforgettables Foundation.

Today, the Redlands-based charity has assisted more than 5,000 local families who have experienced the death of a child, especially with the costs related to funerals and burials.

On Sept. 14 and 15, golfer Tom Pernice Jr. will present a fundraiser for The Unforgettables……
